At Container Sales Australia, we aim to provide quality products and a fair, transparent returns process. This policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
30-Day Return Policy
We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery.
You may request a return, replacement or refund within 30 days if:
- The item is faulty or has a major defect
- The item is unsafe
- The item is significantly different from the description provided
- The item does not perform as advertised
Change of Mind Returns
Change-of-mind returns may be considered within 30 days of delivery, subject to approval.
Requirements
- Item has not been used
- Item has not been installed
- Item has not been modified
- Item remains in original condition
- Customer covers return transport costs
Approval is at our discretion and may be subject to restocking, transport or handling fees.
Used Products
Used containers and equipment may display signs of previous use, including:
- Surface rust
- Dents and scratches
- Paint imperfections
- General wear consistent with age and use
These cosmetic conditions do not constitute faults and are not grounds for a refund or return.
Refund Processing Time
Once your return has been received, inspected and approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible.
- Processing times may vary depending on financial institutions.
Non-Major Issues
Where a fault is considered minor under Australian Consumer Law:
- We will repair the item within a reasonable timeframe.
- If repair is not possible, a replacement or refund may be offered.
- The appropriate remedy will be determined in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Proof of Purchase
Valid proof of purchase is required for all refund, replacement and return requests.

Please contact us before returning any products and include:
- Order Number
- Description of the issue
- Photos of the product (if applicable)
- Supporting documentation
Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.
Exclusions
This policy does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse or neglect
- Unauthorised modifications
- Lack of maintenance
- Normal wear and tear
- Weather exposure after delivery
- Site access issues or placement conditions beyond our control
- Damage caused during relocation by third parties
